Paneer or Tofu Tikki
Makes 8
200 g paneer/tofu
100 g shelled peas, boiled
100 g carrots, boiled
2 green chillies, chopped
Few sprigs coriander leaves
½ teaspoon garlic paste
½ teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying
Methods
Mash paneer or tofu.
Combine all the ingredients, including spices. Mix them well.
Shape them as flat round balls and shallow fry or bake the tikki applying little oil.
Serve hot with coriander chutney
